It took Lenny a full year to land the Brian Chesky interview, and it became his most-listened-to episode ever. Chesky walked through the 11-star framework live: a 1-star Airbnb stay is sleeping on the floor, 5 stars is a nice clean place, and by 11 stars, Elon Musk picks you up in a rocket to the moon. The genius is that you're not supposed to build the 11-star version. You're supposed to dream absurd so that when you come back down to a 6 or 7, it still feels magical. 'The last 10% is 90% of the magic.'
